Open House and Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
30 years in business is quite an accomplishment! To celebrate this important milestone, Westside Remodeling held an open house at their kitchen and bath showroom for their staff, subcontractors, suppliers, past and present clients as well as the Thousand Oaks Chamber of Commerce and active community members.
The showroom was very festive with banners, balloons, prizes, promotions and giveaways. Guests enjoyed drinks, delicious tacos – which were cooked on site by our favorite taco caterer – and many mouth watering desserts. Speeches were given by Bob Sturgeon who told about Westside’s services and thanked his customers for their loyalty and support. “ I am excited and humbled by how many of you are here at our open house!” said Bob.
Georgia Sturgeon, Bob’s wife and office manager, introduced our talented and hard working staff and told Bob how proud of him she is for his 30 years of success. She received a kiss on the check from Bob and lots of “ahhs”. The Chamber guests introduced themselves and briefly told about their businesses.
Then it was time to go outside to take group photos and the ribbon cutting ceremony, for which enormous scissors were provided by the chamber.
Last on the agenda, names were drawn and 8 winners were awarded prizes. The party eventually wound down but not before a wonderful time was had by all!
Bob attributes his continued success to holding our employees, subcontractors and himself accountable to the core values he established for his company when he first created Westside Remodeling: Integrity, Commitment and Excellence in everything we do–along with a lot of hard work and a great team.
Special thanks to the following party guests:
Our suppliers for their prize donations and desserts.
Michelle Chaing and Jenna Sturgeon for photography, hosting and clean-up.
