Step 3 – Creating Your Custom Design

Allow us to stop by for a visit. 


We provide an in-home consultation. With a $250.00 retainer fee we will visit your home and look at the areas you would like to remodel. We listen to your desires, needs, and vision for your remodel. The retainer fee covers a 1-hour consultation and will be applied 100% towards your design fee. 

Our Client First Approach

This is when the magic begins to happen! 


For a nominal design fee, using the information from steps 1 and 2, we will prepare a written design agreement, including a job description, and a refined budget range for your project. If you decide to hire Westside Remodeling, we will work with you to develop the final design and make material selections of all your finishes. 

Get ready to see your design come to life! 


With the design decisions and selection of finishes complete, we will present a detailed construction contract with the exact price of the project. With your approval, we will obtain permits and begin the on time, on budget, professional construction of your project!

Step 1:  Complimentary Cabinet Design Consultation
in Our Kitchen & Bath Showroom 

Meet with one of our cabinet and remodeling specialists in our beautiful Newbury Park showroom. We will listen to your ideas, answer questions, and look at photos you may wish to bring.  We will introduce you to our 4 diverse cabinet lines where you can see and feel lots of samples, storage features, and cabinet hardware.  You will receive a preliminary budget range and a timeline for your project.

Step 2: An In-Home Measure and Design Consultation   

The next step is a an appointment in your home with one of our in-house kitchen and bath designers. They will take a look at your space(s), review your wants and needs as well as take precise measurements and photos. For this consultation, we collect a $250.00 retainer which will be fully credited towards your cabinet order.

Step 3: Design Phase

During the design phase we will create a cabinet design according to your measurements and specifications. Our designer will  offer their expertise on color and material choices as well as help you select knobs and pulls from our top hardware manufactures. Your design will include 3D renderings, floorplans, elevations, and a final quote. We can adjust your design until you are happy with it and ready to purchase. 

Step 4: Order and Delivery 

Once your cabinet design is approved and your payment is collected, we will place your cabinet order! Please allow 2-8 weeks for delivery. 

Should you need installation, our experienced cabinet installers will do a top-notch job!
