Camarillo Kitchen Remodel

This 20-year old tract home has a gorgeous interior, amazing backyard, and lovely neighborhood. But the kitchen was outdated and in need of a full makeover. The original footprint and most of the appliances stayed in place while everything else – including cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, and flooring – was replaced. The outdated microwave was swapped with a steam oven for fast and delicious cooking

There were three main desires our super-nice clients had for their remodel:

  1. Plenty of storage features, including an enclosed coffee & tea bar;
  2. Places to display their collection of ornamental dishes and glassware;
  3. Stunning and unique materials.

We met all these needs and more!

Storage Features

Beverage Bar

This convenient coffee and tea bar has plenty of space for a brewing system and all the fixings. The best part is it does not take up any counter space and can shut out of sight!

These two-layer trays keep utensils and gadgets nicely organized.

Pull Outs

Accessing spices and utensils while cooking is easy with these narrow pull outs next to the range.

Trash Dawer

This double-container trash drawer is great for separating garbage and recyclables–and hiding them from sight!

Wine Cooler

And lastly, this little wine cooler tucks away nicely in the kitchen island.

Cabinetry To Showcase Decorative Dishes

Buffet Cabinets, Glass Cabinets and Floating Shelve

These two spaces next to the dining table are the perfect arrangement for storing and displaying collections of decorative dishes and ornaments.

We think you will agree this kitchen came out gorgeous with lots of character and flair. It is also highly functional and exceeds the expectations of our clients.

Here is what they have to say:

“We used West Side Remodeling for our new Kitchen. They did an absolutely fantastic job! We partnered with Alana for our kitchen design, and were so happy with her responsiveness, creative ideas, and knowledge. She was absolutely amazing to work with, and asked questions to truly understand our style. She was terrific about sharing her opinions and experience but was never pushy and always deferred to us for final decision – but I loved that she would present pros/cons around each decision. She was also fantastic about presenting us with many design options and was incredibly patient! We had Esteban for our master craftsman/carpenter. He was AMAZING! Truly a perfectionist and master of his trade. He was also incredibly friendly, patient, and always cleaned up each day. He even hang all our cabinet doors one day so we could see them up, knowing he would need to take them down the next day! Overall, the quality, craftsmanship, and uniqueness of our new kitchen far surpassed our expectations – We adore it and would not change a single thing! I absolutely love working with West Side and am looking forward to partnering with them again on future projects! ”
