Bob Sturgeon founded Westside Remodeling in 1985, looking to create a workplace where excellent customer service and continuous improvement were inherent qualities of the company culture. Bob established three core values for the business and its employees: Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence. Through a tireless dedication to customer satisfaction, these three core values have consistently driven Westside Remodeling to success for over 30 years.
Bob is a member of the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association ) and CAPID (Conejo Association of Professional Interior Designers). His leadership has led Westside Remodeling to be recognized in major industry publications such as Architectural Digest, LA Home and Remodeling, Professional Remodeler and Remodeling Magazine. Westside Remodeling projects have also been featured in the Los Angeles Times.
Bob takes pride in making sure each client is delighted with their experience with Westside Remodeling, and he’s very proud to have built a team that is able to achieve this each and every day. Bob and his wife Georgia have two children, Bradley and Jenna and have lived in Thousand Oaks since 1990.
Alana A. Busse
Alana’s background is in architecture, interior design, construction, and drafting. For the past eleven years, she has been working in the kitchen and bath remodeling industry. She has designed a wide variety of interesting projects, from condos and tract home remodels to multimillion-dollar ski chateaus and Santa Rosa Valley estates. Each client is very important to her as she helps make their dream home a reality.
Alana has developed many industry connections through sitting on the boards of the local chapters of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). She is currently the President of the local NKBA chapter. Numerous charity tours have featured homes of her design. She has been published in the Ventura County Star and Image magazine multiple times. Alana also received the prestigious Ambassadors Club Award from the NKBA at the Kitchen & Bath Industry show in Las Vegas. In February 2016 she completed new certifications from Hanley Wood University in Window and Door Standards and Material Type and Organizations, Resources and Standards Relevant to Natural Stone.

Christian Sulick has over 20 years experience in remodeling, custom homebuilding and fine woodworking. He has excellent communication skills and is very successful at bringing clients’ needs and dreams to reality.

Caroline is a wonderful addition to our company and a great asset to our design team. She received her Associates degree in Interior Design at the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, CA where she became interested in the Kitchen and Bath Design industry. While in school, Caroline won third place in a kitchen and bath design contest with the NKBA Central Valley and Coast chapter, and won two other design competitions with the IIDA So- Cal Chapter. Caroline loves that her job is fast paced, highly detail oriented, creative and challenging.
Referred to as a “Renaissance Man” and a true “Craftsmen” by his clients, Jon’s talent in music and art lends a creative approach to his work. Attention to detail, good work ethic, problem solving and of course pride, is seen in every song written, each piece painted and every remodel completed. With his 20 years of experience in the trades, a can-do attitude, respect and consideration toward the client, Mr. Barrett succeeds as a lead.
With over 10 years in residential remodeling and commercial building, Greg has a multitude of experience in the construction industry. He enjoys seeing projects go from initial conception to final completion, and the joy it brings to the homeowners. His abilities to think on his feet and problem solve keep his projects on track and on budget. In addition to being a craftsman, Greg is a published writer, award-winning photographer and outdoor enthusiast.
Originally from New Zealand, Andy has worked in carpentry for over 20 years in countries around the globe, including England, Australia, and New Zealand. Andy brings his passion for life, people, and his work to every job. His excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and quest for excellence have been the foundation of his success. When he’s not on the tools, Andy enjoys surfing, kite boarding and playing guitar.
Kelly has been working as a carpenter since 1986, and during that time he also worked as a plumber for 10 years. He always arrives on the job site with enthusiasm and eagerness to get going on the project. Kelly’s strength, skill, experience and easy going personality make him a winner as a carpenter on our job sites. His favorite part of remodeling is the many different aspects involved in working on a project, along with the interesting variety of projects that come his way.

Meet our office and marketing manager, Georgia Sturgeon. Georgia’s 25 years as an escrow officer contribute to her organizational skills and attention to detail. She loves meeting our customers and planning company events, like our popular and educational seminars. After hours, Georgia can be found walking her dog Buddy around her neighborhood.
